Coming up in January, fellow MVP and The UC Architects podcast co-host Ståle Hansen and I will be speaking at the Nordic Infrastructure Conference (NIC) in Oslo. Along with Martin Lidholm, we’ll be covering loads of Lync Server 2013 content.
In particular, here’s the two sessions I’ll be delivering:
Designing High Availability and Disaster Recovery for Lync Server 2013 (Level 300)
The latest version of Lync Server delivers impressive new high availability and disaster recovery features to ensure critical service levels are maintained for all Lync 2013 functionality. In this session with Lync MVP Justin Morris, learn how you can provide both Lync 2013 back-end server and pool level failover. Session features live demon on how to configure these features and client failover behaviour.
Lync Server 2013 Migration and Coexistence Strategies (Level 300)
Learn about what you need to know to migrate both your servers and clients to Lync Server 2013 along with coexistence considerations during your deployment. In this session we’ll cover OCS 2007 R2 and Lync Server 2010 Front-End Pool migration, moving your Edge Servers and Federation configuration, along with client coexistence and deployment and Lync Server 2013 web services publishing requirements.
NIC is on January 24th-25th at Oslo Spektrum and offers not just UC topics but session on System Management, Virtualisation and Windows Server. For more info check out the program here.
